We rented a 4x4 camper car with an inside sleeping setup from this company, and we could not be happier with our choice.Everything was perfect from start to finish. The self-service check-in and check-out process was incredibly smooth and convenient. The company is extremely professional, serious, and punctual. They provided absolutely everything we needed for our road trip, and it was all included in the final price with no hidden surprises.On top of that, their customer service is top-notch—they issued a very quick refund for our Flybus tickets!If we ever return to Iceland, this company will definitely be our number one choice. I’ve been going to Iceland for 12 years, and this car rental allowed me to finally visit all the places and do all the things I’d never been able to afford to do! This was a cheaper and easier option than renting one of the many camper vans or RVs I saw on the road. I was easily able to find campsites to park the car at night (for proximity to the restroom), and the sleeping bag provided was perfect for the ~44F nights. The windows are also tinted to provide plenty of privacy while you sleep. I ended up not using the kitchen supplies, but it was nice to have the option. It also has Bluetooth so I could listen to my music, and had the charging port already inside so I just had to plug in my charger cable. There’s a camera in the back so it’s easy to reverse/parallel park, etc. I loved the freedom that came with having a small car, along with a smaller gas bill. We had a really great experience renting a Suzuki Jimny with a rooftop tent. Everything was perfect.

Whenever we had any questions or doubts, the company responded very quickly by email.

Merci à BlackSheepCampers qui m'a permis pour les 18 ans de ma fille de réaliser son rêve : faire une balade au tölt et au galop sur la plage avec un cheval islandais. Plusieurs agences m'avaient dit que ça ne serait pas possible à cause de l'éclipse, mais BlackSheepCampers a proposé un très bon rapport qualité/prix et nous a même permis d'arriver 2 jours plus tôt que la réservation initiale sans frais supplémentaire pour la modification (nous avons payé uniquement les 2 jours de plus).
Le contact par WhatsApp est très efficace et rapide, ils répondent en quelques minutes et donnent de précieux conseils, même si cela ne concerne pas la voiture.
Nous avions une Dacia Duster de 2022 avec tente sur le toit, nous étions 3 adultes et tout s'est bien passé. Il nous a emmenés partout où nous voulions. Nous avons rapidement trouvé notre organisation, heureusement nous n'avions pas de grosses valises rigides. Les sacs de couchage sont bien chauds et le linge très propre. Le matériel est largement suffisant pour pouvoir se poser dans n'importe quel camping ou site naturel pour le repas.  Quel rêve de se réveiller face à la mer dans l'extrême nord et de pourvoir prendre son petit-déjeuner dans ce cadre !

Awesome experience! Were very accommodating when we asked for some items to be removed. I was impressed it did come with everything you could possibly want for camping: cooking supplies, cleaning supplies, bedding, heater, for no extra charge. I researched other companies and this was truly best value for money. The mattress was very comfortable, much more than I expected, and we were never cold in the sleeping bags. I loved the price compared to other campers. It was unique in offering the experience of sleeping in a car compared to getting a full camper which would have been a waste of space and money for us. I was expecting to be cramped and uncomfortable, but it was much roomier than I thought.

The only thing I was concerned with was the age of the car. By the end of the trip, she started making some noises, even though we just did the usual Ring Road route and attractions.
