Pickup & return
Everything about finding your camper at Keflavík Airport and returning it at the end of the trip.
Where do I pick up my camper?
Pickup is at our base at Flugvellir 15, 1.8 km (3 minutes by taxi) from Keflavík International Airport (KEF). Your exact vehicle location and access instructions are sent before your rental begins.
Where do I return the camper?
Return is also at our base at Flugvellir 15. Park in the area shown in your return instructions, complete the self-service return steps, leave the camper secured and take a taxi to the terminal.
How do I get from the airport to my camper?
Take a licensed taxi from the rank outside Arrivals. We recommend Hreyfill, BSR or A-Stöðin. The trip takes about 3 minutes and costs around 2,500 ISK. Keep the receipt: we refund up to 3,500 ISK per trip, both to our base and back to the airport.
How does self-service pickup work?
Complete your Online Check-in before arrival. Before pickup you receive the information you need to find and access your camper, then you go directly to the vehicle and start your trip.
What if my flight is delayed?
Because pickup is self-service, you are not tied to rental desk opening hours. Your pickup instructions remain available. If a major delay changes your rental plans, contact BlackSheep so we can help.
Can I pick up late at night?
Yes. Once your booking and Online Check-in are complete and you have received your access instructions, the self-service pickup is designed to work outside normal office hours.
