Cookie Policy
Which cookies blacksheepcampers.is uses and how you can control them.
This Cookie Policy explains how blacksheepcampers.is uses cookies and similar technologies such as local storage. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local and session storage, work in a comparable way. Some are necessary for the website to work; others help us understand how the website is used.
2. Cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These are needed for the website and the booking flow to work, so they do not require consent.

Third-party content
Our reviews section shows Google reviews through the Trustindex service. When that section loads, your browser may connect to Trustindex and Google, which can receive your IP address and set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.
Analytics and advertising measurement (only with your consent)
If you click “Accept” in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) to understand how visitors use the website, for example which pages are visited and whether a booking was started or completed. We also use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure whether someone who clicked one of our Google ads went on to book, so we can see which ads work. We do not use this information to identify you. If you click “Reject”, or before you choose, no analytics or advertising cookies are set. We use Google Consent Mode: in that case the Google tag only sends anonymous, cookieless signals (for example that a page was viewed or a booking was completed), without identifiers, so we can estimate overall results.

3. How to control cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the website, including booking and online check-in, may not work. You can change your analytics choice at any time via Cookie settings (also linked in the website footer).
