Why the Dacia Duster works so well in Iceland.
Compact, capable and simple. The Duster camper is available as Sleep in the Back or Sleep in the Back & Rooftop Tent.
A real 4×4 that is easy to drive
The Dacia Duster has four-wheel drive and good ground clearance for gravel roads, wind and winter conditions, yet it is small enough to drive and park like a normal car. Ours are manual and economical on long Ring Road days.
Sleep inside, warm and dry
Fold out the bed and the back becomes a sleeping area for two: about 190 cm long, 100 cm wide at the tailgate and widening to around 135 cm. A 220V heater keeps you warm at campsites with an electrical hookup.
Add a rooftop tent
Travelling as three or four? The rooftop tent version adds a second bed of about 210 × 120 cm on the roof, so two can sleep inside and two up top.
F-roads when they are open
Both Duster campers are approved for F-roads when they are officially open, so the highlands are within reach in summer. Some roads are always off-limits and water damage is never covered. Read the F-road guide.
