Why a 4×4 camper in Iceland
Weather changes fast, gravel roads are common and winter brings snow and ice. A 4×4 gives you traction and confidence on all of it, while a compact camper is easy to drive and park compared with a large campervan or motorhome.
Dacia Duster 4×4 — two setups
Choose Sleep in the Back, with a bed for two inside, or Sleep in the Back & Rooftop Tent, which sleeps up to four. Both are manual Dusters approved for open F-roads, so the highlands are within reach in summer.
Leapmotor C10 AWD — electric
The Leapmotor C10 is an all-wheel-drive electric SUV with a bed for two and Camp Mode heating all night on battery. It is built for the Ring Road, paved roads and normal gravel roads, and is not approved for F-roads.
Self-service pickup at Keflavík
All campers are picked up at our base at Flugvellir 15, 1.8 km from the terminal. A 3-minute taxi gets you there and we refund it, up to 3,500 ISK each way. See how pickup works.
